[Free] Rip steve

I decided to take a calligraphy class to learn how to [learn calligraphy]. I learned about serif and sans-serif typefaces, about varying the space between different letter combinations, about what makes great typography great. It was beautiful. Historical. Artistically subtle in a way that science can't capture. — Steve Jobs,

With the passing of Steve Jobs i think how he change my life has a child being the innovator that he is. Even though no one in my family uses a Mac we all have been touched of by Steve's creations. My first encounter of a Mac product was the iMac G3. From the memories that i recall on the G3 was very odd type of computer. It had no tower the computer itself was just a screen. I loved my G3 but as technology progressed the G3 was soon outdated. The G3 was an ingenious piece of machinery, it was sleek, it took less space, and they came in 13 different colors. It was a pretty trendy computer even though i am a windows user.

Steve has changed the game of entertainment nowadays with the creation of iTunes ,iTune apps, iTouch/iPhone and final creation of Steve Jobs is the iCloud. The iCloud's
service allows users to store data such as music files on remote computer servers for download to multiple devices such as iPhones, iPods, iPads, and computers running Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows. The iCloud replaced the Apple's MobileMe program being the data syncing center for email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, notes, to-do lists, and other data.

I have not used the iCloud but I am really impress of this program and it is an interesting way storing data vs the the external hard drive; having to plug it in and carry it out and such.

With Steve's passing we will miss decades of his work
He is a huge influence to a lot of people and me; and i feel cherish my ipod.

R.I.P - Steve Jobs
Change Heaven into iHeaven and teach god how to use iPad 4 LOL

[Free]dat scab

These are wounds I got on Sunday. I already kicked my other larger scab on that same leg on Wednesday. But this one? This was on my ankle and the dried scab was no more than 2 millimeters in diameter.

I was eating lunch with Steven Ron and France when suddenly my shoe scraped against the scab as I was walking. I didnt think much of it until a few seconds later I felt a wet-ish sensation, looking down only to realise it was drizzling with blood oozing through my socks. I thought the blood would be minimal if none at all and that was the max it would be, so I just kept walking until I noticed it got wetter and wetter. I looked down and the blood on my socks was soaked that it was almost an inch in diameter. I got France’s left over tissues from Doggy Style yesterday and wiped that shit down. But then it just kept oozing blood, kind of reminded me of a nosebleed. Quite a lot of blood for such a small scab/wound.

[CE] Troy Davis

We are the true victims here, MacPhail's widow Joan said outside the appeal board hearing in Atlanta, pledging that she and her two children would attend Davis's execution.
Georgia has executed 51 people convicted of murder since 1976 and clemency has been granted on only seven occasions since. Davis was refused clemency by the parole board in September 2008 but some of its members have since changed.
The European Union on Monday urged justice officials against killing Davis.
I really can't believe that something like this can happen to someone. I thought the American justice system was better than that. They really had no HARD evidence against this man and they gave him the worst punishment possible. There should be measures to prevent something like this from happening.

When I heard this news I had a feeling of shock, sadness, and anger. I was shocked because what I said above, I couldn't believe it. How could something that we think is organized and proper make such a decision like this? I was sad because it was like an innocent man got executed in the name of justice. I felt like everything about this was wrong. I was angry at the fact they would let this happen. A lot of people were protesting against the execution but they still wouldn't listen.

The whole thing was stupid because the evidence put against him wasn't even reliable and a bunch of other people from around the world gave him their support to appeal the execution. He was jailed for so long and had a a bunch of chances to prove himself innocent but the court still failed to recognize their lack of evidence and continued to push the execution punishment.

I really think this story could be a perfect example of our really flawed justice system.

Taking pictures has progressively grown to become one of my favorite hobbies to do. The idea that I can capture a moment, an expression, a feeling in a single moment in time and keep that moment in time in a picture has always caught my interest.- Alvin Lee

My boy Alvin taking them swag pictures. I too find taking pictures a pleasant hobby. Back in sophomore year i went to a wedding in Toronto, Canada. It was my aunt Trish’s wedding, she was getting married to her high school sweet heart. She was pregnant at the wedding and it was nice to be there for her.

On the day before the wedding, the area caught my eye and it sparked my interest to take pictures. I saw stuff like the Stratosphere, skyscrapers, and just a complete urban jungle. Seeing all of these things made me want to capture the moment. All of it was pretty different to what I was used to in the United States. I played with my uncle’s DSLR which was a Nikon D90 with some professional lenses. I shot things like my grandma’s koi fish in her pond as well as exotic flowers in her garden.

My dad was pretty impressed with the pictures I took during the trip and decided to buy me a DSLR to call my own. At first I couldn’t believe it because it was such a big step towards a hobby I was just getting into. I guess he wanted to give me the tools to pursue this hobby and possibly find a career. Since then I’ve been taking more pictures and editing them more and more. Hopefully this hobby will stick for a while.

[Free] Scaryy night

Last week i was at my friend James’ house with Alvin and Andrew. We were watching a movie called Warlords until 8pm because we had to go home to eat dinner. As we part our separate ways Alvin and Andrew walk towards the 21 bus stop to bay-farm; while I walk the other way to Santa Clara Ave. On my way home I am on my headphones; I stumble across a drunk
stranger. The stranger comes up to me with a broken bottle on his right hand and a switchblade in the other and asks me for my wallet. Of course i did not want any trouble i reach for my wallet, but as i reached for it he thought i was reaching for a weapon for some reason and tries to stab me with the broken bottle. With quick reflexes i grab the broken bottle but the sharp edge and i kicked the switch blade out of his hand. I then strike him with a left hook and knock him to the ground. I break away from the scene top speed with blood gushing out of hand; I was afraid to wrap it because i had glass shards sticking out of hand.
I ran to my to uncle’s house with quick thinking. He disinfected my wounds and took the glass shards out of my hand. I knew that my uncle was pro at this because when he we was a teenager he got into a lot fights in the streets of Chicago. As a small boy no one really took care of my uncle. My grandparents were too busy working and he did not really have anyone else but himself.
